Cool Podcasts

I haven’t been here for a while :S I miss my blog so much. Today I’ll write about some cool podcasts I’d like you to hear (if you have time). I’m not gonna talk about the podcast , but I’ll say what it is for those who don’t know what is.
Podcast: is a series of digital media files and it can be either audio or video often download through the web syndication.
The name’s origin is derived from Apple’s Ipod.
I’ll start the list and I hope you listen and enjoy ^^
The first podcast I guess any geek will know it, it is the TWiT.tv
TWiT.tv , is a podcast that is run by Leo Laporte , currently they host 19 podcasts. It covers tech stuff of course like the internet, computer security, computer hardware, Google …etc
I personally listen to
This Week in Tech : It’s hosted by Leo Laporte mainly and other hosts, too. This podcast is obviously about technology and it’s just great. These guys are hilarious and they don’t miss anything in tech. The podcast was awarded (where it records around 315,000 downloads a week). It comes both audio and video.

Daily Giz Wiz : If you like short podcast, this is the one for you. It’s also hosted by Leo and Dick DeBartolo. It is a daily podcast and it start with a gadget. The reviewer depends on the day.
- Monday: Dick DeBartolo
- Tuesday: Turn The Table Tuesday : Leo Laporte
- Wednesday: Theme-Free Wednesday: Dick DeBartolo
- Thursday: Dick DeBartolo
- Friday: Gadget Warehouse Friday: Dick DeBartolo
I should mention that there are many cool podcasts but I don’t listen to them. You can listen and if you like any of them tell me
TechStuff: This is a podcast from the famous website or maybe famous for me “How Stuff Works” as it is obvious from the website’s name, it talks about ”How Stuff Works” but in “teche” way
and you can go to their blog.

Grammar Girl : something that is not a tech related and one of my favorite podcasts. The podcast, which has ranked as high as #2 on iTunes. It’s hosted by Mignon Fogarty, she discusses English grammar in : writing, reading speaking and what is the difference between some words. It had been downloaded over seven million times as of December, 2007. If you are looking to improve your language I highly recommend you to listen to it. It’s a minute long , so what’s the harm!

The Math Dude:well, back to my geeky stuff
. I love this podcast and I think It’s not exclusive for math gurus. It is actually for anyone who is interested in math or on the other hand hates math and want to learn it.It’s hosted by Jason Marshall works as a research scientist at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) studying the infrared light emitted by starburst galaxies and quasars. It’s also a minute so again what’s the harm!
I listen to other podcasts, but these are the BEST. At least, for me .
